Basic Engraving and Signage Guidelines
1. High contrast colors (blue/white, red/white, white/black, etc.) work best for small signage such as name badges, desk plates, etc. Lower contrast colors (white/silver, gray/black, two-tone, etc.) work best with larger signage.
2. Engraving works best for small signage and for applications that call for script fonts and/or very sharp graphic details.
3. Vinyl applications are generally more suitable for larger signage with block type fonts/graphics.
4. These are not hard and fast rules but the major point to remember here is that there are lots of different ways to create custom signage. The application itself will usually determine the materials and/or processes that will give the best result. There are far too many variables to consider when creating custom signage to discuss here. Our 3/8" and 1/4" thick Longarm Quilting Rulers and Templates are designed and engineered for use with long-arm, short-arm and other types of stand-up quilting machines. These are high quality tools for professional quilters and will last a lifetime given proper care and useage. Machined from Premium clear cast acrylic Plexiglas - this is not "the cheap stuff". All engraving is done on the bottom side (reverse engraved) of our templates and rulers leaving a smooth top surface.

I received the order on Thursday, and they are wonderful. They are so easy to use with my machine and so glad I found your site. I am not sure where I saw them advertised as I was traveling at the time and it was written down with a lot of other notes I made to myself to look at when I got home. I took them to my guild meeting on Friday and the other women were interested in them so I passed on your business cards. Hope you get more orders.
