4 Panel Vista™ V300 Wayfinding Signage with reverse engraved inserts shown above end cap and frame color options Nametags
Nametags and badges: They are a very small part of what we do but yes we can make them. Standard engraving methods (front or reverse engraved) work just like on larger signage but we would like to offer some advice regarding them, even if you don't get them from us.
- We recommend square cut rounded corners to keep them from snagging on clothing or having any sharp edges.
- They should be manufactured using high contrast colors (red/white, white/blue, black/silver. etc.) This will make them more noticeable and easier to read.
- Use easy to read fonts if possible (Ariel, Verdana, Times Roman, etc.) and text sizes should be as large as possible.
- Brass and aluminum can be used but should always be oxidized to turn any lettering or logo black. Again, it simply makes them easier to read.
- Magnets are the preferred method for attachment but should not be worn by anybody with a pacemaker or similar device. Also keep in mind that magnets have limitations when it comes to thick and/or bulky clothing.
- They should be as lightweight as possible. This will help keep them from being top-heavy and "falling over".
